When reviewing the existing Live Hartford website, it appeared incredibly simple—but boring. The site was seriously lacking in rich content and user engagement. With the client’s main priority to attract new home buyers and renters, the site needed an overhaul when it came to strategy and userflow. We needed to create an excitement for Hartford, and also an excitement to learn more about the different areas within the state’s capital. With Lumi’s office located right on Pratt Street, they suggested adding a neighborhood breakdown to match newcomers with the area best suited for their personality and lifestyle. After doing a full audit of the site and taking all the new suggested areas of content into consideration, I created 10 unique templates.
